Container objects unavailable in QV 11

Hi guys,

When we updated our server to Qlikview 11 the containers lost some or all of their objects. When checking the container object the only thing you can see is "document/CHXX(unavailable)". Any ideas of why this is happening?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm experiencing the same problem. Any solution?

I had the same problem using QV11 SR1. I was testing in V11 a model developed in V10 and the containers were empty (all objects unavailable).

Resolution: I was using a V10 project folder (-prj). When I deleted the -prj folder, then the model loaded correctly in V11.

So the V10 XML files mess up the loading of containers in V11.

Hope that helps

Same issue after updating to SR1.

Emptying the -prj folders did the trick, thanks Jonathan!

This issue is mentioned in the relase notes:

"QlikView 11 can open QlikView 10 project files (XML). If there was a container object in the original

QlikView 10 file, it will be lost when opening the project files in QlikView 11. This will corrupt the

new QlikView 11 file and the entire container will need to be reconstructed. The work around is to

open the QlikView 10 file in QlikView 11 and recreate the project files."

Thanks for mentioning that.

In my case, the issue was introduced by upgrading from v11 IR to v11 SR1.
