DCS Service down

We come into office and the DCS service is down .

we tried restarting the server and or services it refuses to start .

Its running against the correct account .

To make sure that we understand each other: What is a DCS service?

If you mean the QlikView DSC service (Directory Service Connector), and your DSC consistently refuses to start, something serious may be off. Open the most recent DSC log in C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DirectoryServiceConnector\Log (the log files have a file name that carries the date) and check for any fatal errors, or post the latest log in this thread.

It could be as simple as a Domain Controller suddenly being unreachable or something like that.

did you tried restarting the server?  if not try and then after restart the services

Is the service actually running (services.msc) OR is it that QMC is reporting it as down?
