I had no response from anyone on the forum and the problem in the end was simply sorted using dimensions. Due to the lack of response I assumed nobody would be interested.

Hi there,

It was originally posted nearly a month ago so things are a tad misty now. I was having problems with a nested average. The problem was mainly down to my understanding on how qlikview works in Graph mode and Script mode. All working now.
