Difference between dimension limit and max Number in Presentation in straight table?

Dear All,

Can anyone explain me what is the difference between writing the variable in "dimension limit" and "Max Number property in Presentation" of a straight table for displaying the top N items selected from a slider?

Thanks in advance

max number:

display the first n rows (1..100) of a straigth table

you can choose the first rows sorting the columns you want

max number works only in str tables

dimension limit:

restrictions are always made using the first expression (in max number you can choose the expression)

dim limit has many more options: largest,  smallest, greater than .... (see help for detail)

dim limit works in different charts (straigtht, bar, line, ...)

Hi,

With Dimension  Limits you have many options

Largest N,

Smallest N,

Show values Greater Than,

Show values  Lesser Than,

Show values  Greater Than or Equal to>,

Show values Lesser Than or Equal to,

Total

Others

Accumulate to n%

This all are not possible with Presentation properties.

Hope this helps you.
