Difference between "Suppress when value is null" && "Show all values"

Hello All !

I'm working on QV dashboard but i still don't understand the two notions "Suppress when value is null" & "Show all values".

To my mind, activating one option means the other can't be authorised...
Indeed, as "Suppress when value is null", i understand that we don't display null values (for instance, cells unlinked).
For me, "Show all values means we display all values, even if there equals 0"...

Am i wrong ?

Thanks in advance !

Hi,

here are the explanation out of the help file:

Suppress when Value is NULL

If this check box is marked, the selected dimension in the Used Dimensions above will not be displayed in the chart if its value is NULL.

Show All Values

With this option checked, all x-values will be shown, not just the ones that are possible. This feature prevents the recalculation of the axes between selections, making the chart more stable

And keep in mind: NULL is not equal to Zero (0)
