Hi,

I have checked, i have connected to SQL SERVER database, direct discovery working properly in Accesspoint.

If i connected to Vertica Database, iam getting database connection failed.

any suggestions on same.

Check with the Qlik Partner directly, because I have not worked on Vertica DB

You have to make sure that your Vertica Database ODBC drivers are set up identically on your QlikView Server and your QlikView Development computer (running the QlikView Desktop).

It does not matter whether MS SQL Server works ok both places - you must get the relevant ODBC-drivers configured identically and for the account on the server that the QVS (QlikView Server Service) is running.
