We have a power user that's asking for us to turn on Dynamic Data Update on the server. As we haven't had a chance to do much testing with this yet, I'm wondering what kind of experience others have had with it. Specifically:
- Have you seen any kind of performance hit on the server(s) after turning this on?
- Are there any best practices you can recommend after using it?
- My understanding is that the update is just performed on the data in memory. If that's so:
- What happens to that data after the QVW is reloaded?
- What happens to people who already had the QVW opened and are working on it? Do they immediately see the updates or do they need to close the application and reopen it?
