EDX task query

Hi,

Please consider the follwing scenario :

I have two variables x and y with default values 2 and 3 respectively in my application.

I open the application from access point and manually enter the new values for these variables using input box. lets say x=1 and y=1

Click on the reload button which uses an EDX task to reload the qvw.

will my application be reloaded with x,y as 2,3 or x,y as 1,1 ?

I am using qlikview 11.2 sr6

Your changes will not be reflected in the reload, as the changes are in the document in memory, but the EDX triggered reload will be based in the document on disk.

You can pass variables into a document during an EDX reload and this would possibly be the way to meet your need. The mechanism will depend on how you are triggering the EDX request. You will find more information by searching this site for EDX,
