Error Document open call failed.

Hello

I got a qvw file that DOESN'T have section access it simply connects to database and stores retrieved tables into QVDs

if I run it manually from QV client it runs sucessfully

when I run the task defined on it I get the following error:

Error     Document open call failed. The document might require username and password.

Please advise what the problem might be

HI Ali,

I know you told us there is no section access.

Can you open this document via desktop --> go to document properties --> opening tab and make sure Initial data reduction based on section access and initial selection based on section access is unchecked.

We need to make sure that those options are unchecked.

Let me know if that worked.

Regards

Hi,

we have the same error.

We have Win 2012 R2 and QV 11.20 SR10.

The error comes since 2 Days.

Could you please ckeck the Task Historie in the QMC?

is there the correct date?

We have found there tasks with dates like 27.02.2015 and actually like 03.09.2015

Maybe it helps to find out 🙂

Has anyone found an explanation or solution to this behaviour?

Hi Ali,

Have you got Generate Log File set in the QVW? If not, then enable it, re run the reload and then post the log file created.

Regards

Andy
