Hi,

Thanks for you reply.

where goes the path? In the variable?

For example if I call a folder C:/Windows/Desktop/QlikView where is found it all QlikView documents

In the variable I have to put  C:/Windows/Desktop/QlikView?

I need to extract to excel - number of tables, fields, registers, variables etc

Thanks

Hi, as in the example i got a path C:\Qlikview, so in second tab called 'Configuration', i put C:\Qlikview on directory and 'production' on Group.

Under C:\Qlikview i got 4 folders called QVD,APPS,LOGS and LOAD then when i made a load script all my qvd´s, and qvw´s files appear on the next corresponding tabs under production group. Then if i want to make a group of these, i should have to put in the second tab something like:

GroupDirectory
QVDC: \QLIKVIEW\QVD
LOADSC: \QLIKVIEW\LOAD
LOGSC:\QLIKVIEW\LOGS
APLICATIONC:\QLIKVIEW\APLICATION

Then I could export any chart of those tabs to excel.

I hope this works for you.

Sorry about my english, isn't my native language.

Regards,

Santiago.

What kind of errors?

You just have to place C:/Windows/Desktop/QlikView instead C:\QLIKVIEW. Could be a permission trouble, can you post a screen?

I test this qvw on my download folder and in my desktop like in this picture, and still working fine.

Another thing, when i tested on another machine at first time i wrote D:\QLIKVIEW and made a reload then i had a lot of errors, then i saw that directory was black, i mean the words on chart, so i press enter and those changed to green, i did a reload and run with any problem.

Check this, if still not working let see us a screenshot.

Parece ser un error en la dirección o estructura de directorio.

Aquí ya marca el primer incoveniente. Intenta cambiando / por \ o el inverso de acuerdo al simbolo que hayas usado en la primera prueba.

..."///d:/integraciones/documentos/ARPU.qvw."

...

  FROM (XmlSimple, Table is [DocumentSummary/LineageInfo])

07/08/13 10:11:08:                 Error: An invalid character was found in text content.

07/08/13 10:11:08:                  On line number: 1. On column number: 2. System ID:

file:///d:/integraciones/documentos/Volumetria.qvw.

...

Gracias,

Saludos
