Export to Excel does not work: Win 10 and Office 365

Hello community,

we use Qlik 11 "plug-in" on our Clients. The Clients have Win 10 / IE 11 / Office 365 (32 bit). When trying to Export to Excel or CSV, nothing happens. Doesn't matter if you open to Excel or you want to save it as a file. Another Client has Win 10/ IE 11 / Office 2016 and the Export works without issues.

Has anyone experienced this phenomena and have a solution to it?

Thanks!

Petra

No, we have not tried to install Office 365 64 bit. We do not have that Option, it is within a managed corporate System not owned by ourselves.

Did you manage to resolve this issue?

Hello Hani,

we have found out that you can only use Office 32 bit for Export and Excel Needs to have a certain Option unchecked ...

Go to Options -> Advanced Scroll down to 'General' and make sure there is not a tick against the entry mentioning the DDE Connection. (Dynamic Data Exchange). I'm translating this from another Excel language so you'll have look around a bit maybe. This has worked for our Clients.

We have same situation after O365 upgrade (local installations of course) Excel export stopped working. I tested yesterday with my own computer (Win 10 Pro 64-bit) which had 64-bit version of Office installed - uninstalled it and installed 32-bit version. Nothing changes. Just spinning exporting wheel but Excel doesn't open at all.
