Hi all,
In all the user's whoever is using Windows 7 , export to Excel is not working. I tried lot of things like going in compatibility mode, adding the sites to the Secured Sites list, but nothing is working. Does any one have any solution? Thanks in advance.
With regards
Amar
Hey,
I have found a workaround for this.
If you use Chrome and install the IE plugin, you can export to Excel with no problems as you used to be able to.
Hope that helps.
Danny
I may be wrong about this, but have your users installed the IE plugin?
And I assume that your users have Excel installed on the same machine.

Hi Amar,
Even I am facing the same issue. One thing if you can try is to know what IE version the user is installed. As I read in one of the threads that IE 64-bit version does not function properly with IE 32 bit Plugin.
So try installing the IE 32 bit version and check.
Thanks and Regards,
Umesh Jadhav
We are experienceing the same issue... export to excel not working. We are experienceing the same issue with and without the plugin. We also operate with zero footprint and having same issue.
Anyone have any suggestions as to what to look at to correct the issue? thanks ahead of time!

Hi together,
i know this thread is old but found somebody another solution than using chrome as a browser? We changed our Clients to Windows 7 and Excel Export and Printing is not working with the IE Plugin since then. The temporary Files are not created. No Popup is show - nothing happens when clicking on the Excel Export or Printing Icon.
Thanks for your help!
Martin
is the qlikview and plug in version same ?
Umesh,
Good advice. ZDNET recommend using IE 32 bit version on Windows 7 (64 bit), becaue the 64 bit browser is supplied by Microsoft with an out of date javascript interpreter, making it run significantly more slowly
Roger
Qlikview is the 64 Bit Version and IE Plugin is the 32 Bit Version. But i have some other Apps on the Access Point, which were created with a 32 Bit Version of Qlikview and there the Excel Export and Printing is not working, too.
So to me it seems to be a problem with windows 7. (PS: In ajax the export and printing is working under Win7!).
Found a Solution for it: Go to Tools option in the internet explorer.---->Go to Security. Add the the Accesspoint to the secured websites.
