Hi All,
I saw a few discussion about the following subject but I didn't find any solution for my problem..
I have a pivot table. I want to add an expression only for the first dimension. all the other dimensions has null value under that expression. so I want that only the total/only the first dimension value will be display.
that's my problem:
and when I expand...
name1 | name2 | name3 | Error Count |
b | C | - | - |
D | - | - | |
E | F | - | |
E | - | - | |
- |
| 100 |
1. is it possible to had the error count to the 'name1' dimension si they will be display in the same cell? I tried and it gave me an error.
2. another option that will works for me is to remove the '-' and then the value will be shown on the last row. is that possible? In this way I'll need to change the place of the expression (to be next to the first dimension column). Can I do that?
I Really appreciate your help, thanks!
Disable the Suppress Zero-Values option. See attached qvw.
Hi Gysbert, thanks for your help. what I meant is that I want these cells to be empty, without '-'.
On the Presentation tab change the Null and Missing symbols to whatever you need. Blanks or single spaces will do what you want.
Thank you!
