Field Event Trigger to Set Variables Not Working in Webview Mode

Hi Guys,

I have a QlikView application which has a button to select ID as "1". I have a document level Field Event Trigger on ID field to set variable 'vTaxPercent' as 15%.

If I set the variable 'vTaxPercent' as 0% in the UI using Input box and then click the button "Apply Tax for A", 'vTaxPercent' is set to 15% (which is mentioned in 'On Select' Field Event Trigger for ID ) if QVW is opened in Desktop mode. 

However, the same behavior doesn't work when tried in Webview mode (AJAX mode on accesspoint).

Can anyone help me with this issue?  Attached the application for reference.

NOTE: I am specifically looking for a way to "select specific ID value" using a button / Text Object and set vTaxPercent after that. As per requirement, I can't have a list box of ID in the UI for user to select.

Try a macro in this case

Triggers and macros doesn't work very well in Webview mode. 

Try to publish the app instead and try it in Ajax.
