Field not visible after load

I'm loading a qvd with ten fields in it into an existing qvw, and one of the fields is present when looking in the Table Viewer but does not show up as an Available Field to add to an object.  There's nothing unusual about its name or contents, and it displays normally when loaded in a standalone qvw (but there are no naming conflicts in the qvw it doesn't appear in).  Nor do I see any errors in the logs.  Any thoughts as to what could be causing this to vanish?

Have you checked that the field is not hidden by your settings of HidePrefix or HideSuffix variables?

As well as HidePrefix or HideSuffix, has the field been tagged as hidden?

On the same note as above two responses, do you see your field once you check 'Shpw System Fields'?

Nice catch.  I inherited this project years ago but had never noticed that they had dropped a HideSuffix in there.
