File Size increases when creating QVD

I have a very weird problem. My CSV file size was 3.07 GB and the QVD size was 1.07 GB. Now my CSV file size got reduced to 1.07 GB but when i am creating QVD the size is becoming 1.5 GB. How is it possible How come the size of QVD be more then CSV ??

change the value allowdatalineage from 0 to -1
