Formatting Text ( Align - RIGHT) in bar chart - Qlik Community

Dear All

I have bar chart I want to format text in left align please refer attached jpg for help.

How to format text '<b>' using this we can BOLD text , How to align right / left in qlikview.

Hi Vikas,

1. For making the Text Bold follow this,

go to Chart properties > Axes (Tab) > Dimension Axis (block) > Font (Button) >

from here you can change the text to bold, italic, size ,etc....

and

2. For alignment of text.

Diagonally oriented labels in a vertical bar chart ARE right-justified...

I don't think it's possible to control text alignment (left-right-center) in the Chart Labels, - this is controlled by QlikView. The only possible work around I could think of is creating equally sized strings with padded spaces in the beginning or at the end, and selecting a fixed-width (none-true type) font. This way you can "fake" left- or right- justification.

I thing using HTML code it is possible in qlikview is there any Idea to get the same.

Hi Vikas,

you can align left by going on Axes tab>> Dimension Axes>> uncheck Truncate Label,

it will align left.

Sorry i could not find that option Truncate Label.

Do i need to Make changes in Settings or something ?

This is not possible. Alignments like those aren't implemented yet.

See the sample and it seems it is the one which you want .

----For Bold i have used option Properties>>Axes>> Dimension Axis>>Font Tab

----For Left Alignment it is to unchek Truncate Label on same AxisTab under Dimension Axis
