Gantt Chart Help/Question

Hello everyone,

I'm fairly new to the community, excited to be a part of it though I'm working on creating a gantt chart type view in my application and I hit an issue, some of the tasks in my projects don't have an allocation of 100% from start to finish, i.e. some of the tasks have a commitment of as little as 5 hours a week. Would anyone happen to have an idea of how I can theoretically handle this kind of project information to display in a gantt format. Thanks in advance for looking into this for me, much appreciated.
