Hello friends,
Is there a way to create a dropdown option or a sheet selection object where they can select a sheet to navigate to?
I have tabrows hidden but want to enable users to add their own sheets. When they do this, currently there is no way to navigate to other sheets if tabrows are hidden.
Any help?
Hi John,
you could just enable the 'Sheets' option in the navigation toolbar if you are referring to working in QV Desktop

you can create some button objects and trigger the object with sheet numbers.
Hello
I am trying to solve this from the Web Browser version of QlikView
Ok,
create a sheet of buttons/text boxes etc, that have actions assigned that use Layout > Activate Sheet triggers

you would need to create an island table that contains each one of your sheets, and then apply tigger once a value is selected to take you to that sheet, it should share the same concept as the customizable straight table
That would be a bit more tricky for user created sheet as these are server objects. So you'd need to use a connector to read the shared file and pull out all the created sheet elements etc and this would need to reload into your island so wouldn't be available straight away
Rather than specifying a sheet ID to activate, maybe look at just creating buttons for activating the next/previous sheet.
As this would pick standard and user created sheets right away
hope that helps
