Help: Opening Two Different QVW's ???

Hi,

I have two QVW files named   Policy.QVW  and Claims.QVW.

Can I Open both POLICY.QVW and CLAIMS.QVW at the same time on my pc and work side by side ?

I used to do this . But I forgot how to do this now..

Pls do reply if you know the answer.

Thankyou.

NOTE: I am not talking about Two or more different developers working on same QVW at a time. I just want to Open both policy.qvw and claims.qvw  at a sametime on my personalized edition and work on those two side by side since I loved few chart properties on POLICY which i want to copy paste them or enter manually into claims.

Thankyou .. Regards

Open the Policy.QVW application and choose the 'Tile option from window menu.

After choosing the 'Tile' option you can able to see the  'Policy.QVW' and 'Recently Opend Doc List' in tiles form.

Then choose the 'Claims.QVW application' from recently opened list and choose the Tile option once gain.

yes,1. you can open 'n' number of QVW files same time. Open  Policy.qvw file  and click on qikview icon on start menu of your desktop/Qlikview shortcut on your desktop, now open Claims.qvw ; by this you can open qlikview files in two windows. This way is convienent to work when two desktops connected

2. If you open one policy.qvw, and go to file open (using tab ) Claims.qvw. both files are opened but overlapped one over another;just use minimize button for claims.QVW(this is different from qlikview minimize sign, it is present just below it), then you can see policy.qvw.

when you are working on  y.qvw, double clicking on  X.qvw file  will work as solution2. However, we can not open x.qvw if you are in edit script of y.qvw

Hi,

Maybe you can use Tile or Cascade view from Window tab.

Found it is much more convenient to work with 2 different qvw.
