How To Restrict Access to users

I am using Qlikview Version 9.00.7.119..4.

We have set up our report in such a way that it gives the sales figures of our company according to the various territories that has been set up in the report. Can I know if there is a way where by we can restrict access for a few users to a particular territory only and prevent them from seeing the data in other territories?

For example, user A can see only sales related to territory Australia; user B can see only sales related to territory India, User C can see both India and Australia. Hope its clear

Please help and this is very much needed here in my company

Hello Thomas,

you can use the section access in your script. Explaining it will take some time. But there are a lot of interresting posts and examples in the forums and blogs. I just tried "section access" as search string with some formidable results like

Hi Thomas,

see the attached example for a quick start.

Users are: admin, demo1, demo2, demo3, and demo4

Countries are grouped in three different areas (A, B and C).

User demo4 are allowed to see country groups A and C.

Good luck!
