How to change the color of a bar chart with multiple dimensions dpending on a month or something else?

Hi,

I am stuck for a while now with a small problem.

Below is an example of a bar chart that I want to modify:

error loading image

What I want to do now is that the most recent month(here October) is displayed in other colors, let´s say a dark and a light blue for each dimension. And when the data for a new month (November) is added, the bar chart should change accordingly.

Browsed the forums, read the threads, even read the manual, but couldn´t get the desired result.

Can anyone give me some hints?

Thank you

The attached example should help you out.

Check under chart properties > expressions > expand the expression name > background color.

This example assumes that your Month & Year combination is formatted as a proper date. Check the script for details.
