How to hide & show specific dimension in chart

Hi Team,

I have one scenario. Please help on that

I have 3 buttons.

ex- Country, State, City

3 Dimensions & 1 measure

ex- Country,State,City  and  measure is Sales

Requirement:-

1. Country,State,City  are Dimension and  expression is Sales in Straight Table.

2.when i click on Country button , i want to show only Country, Sales in Straight Table.Other dimension are hide automatic.

3.when i click on State button , i want to show only State, Sales in Straight Table.Other dimension are hide automatic.

4.when i click on City button , i want to show only City, Sales in Straight Table.Other dimension are hide automatic.

Kindly use Enable Condition in Dimension.

Hi,

there are several ways to archieve that.

I would add an action to the buttons setting a variable e.g. vButton you can set this value to 1 for country 2 for State and 3 for city (just an example).

Next step you go into the properties of the chart and add in dimensions tap a condition to the mentioned dimensions vButton=1 for the country dimension, vButton=2 fo State and so on.

you may add the same condition to the coloring of the button in order to archieve that the selected button is highlighted. (if you wish)

Or, less elegant, but also works: You take a container and put in three charts one for each dimension and call them State, Country, City you may switch the charts via buttons in a container... but this is the less elegant way as via variable&condition there's less ressources needed to calculate only one chart instead of three you have with the container.
