How to maintain the consistent color schemes when selected with out filtering the bars in a bar chart?

Hello All,

I have below scenario:

I have 3 dimensions and a measure.

1. Category

2, Sub Category

3. Product Name

4. Sales (Measure)

I am trying to display the charts using the above dimensions and measures as shown below.Screen 1.PNG

Above all 3 charts are colored by Category. If I select Technology under category chart other two bar charts should display the respective values and color as shown below and most importantly the Category chart should not filter out other two categories when Technology is selected and display the Furniture and Office supplies categories with the true colors (though grayed out)  as shown below.

Screen 2.PNG

I am also attaching the sample data file.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Venu

Can you share a qvw file which you might have been working with?

Hi ,

As far I have understood for the first bar chart change the style to " LED" or Check boxes then your chart won't fade out.

Hope this helps you.

Hi Sunny,

Please find the attached workbook.

Note: The filtering and color scheme should be remains across all 3 charts.

Thanks,

Venu

Thank you Sunny for your work on this.

However, When i checked the Technology Blue color it is changing the colors (Not showing the true colors) of Furniture and Office Supplies.

I tried different approaches missing something.

Thanks,

Venu
