How to open a QlikView file on QlikView Desktop after limit reached? It has Section Access too

Hi,

I have a important QlikView file that I want to open on my QlikView desktop. I believe the opening times limit has reached so get the cannot open file message.

This QlikView file has section access in it which means I can't even open it in Qlik Sense.

I tried uninstalling and installing QlikView but that still does not let the file open.

Any suggestions please?

If it got section access implemented then you will need to provide the right credentials in order to open it.

If the data is important you could try to do a binary load (it is best practices to disallow binary load on section access documents, but you never know. If your QlikView desktop is bothering you then you can try the binary load in Qlik Sense.
Your won't save your application with this approach but you might be able to save the data.
