How to recover Macro code from a corrupt QVW file

Hi,

I am trying to open a file and it says "Failed to Load".

I have tried it opening without data but couldn't do that.

I want to recover Macro code written in the file which is the most of effort.

Please help.

Thanks,

Narsingh

Maybe ... just maybe you could be lucky by trying to make a project folder:

Create a folder with the same name as the QVW-file but without the extension QVW and with -prj as postfix:

ABC.QVW

Should create a folder named:

ABC-prj

Then try to open the app without data and see if it populates the ABC-prj folder with XML-files....

If you get the same error message and nothing is created in the folder then you are out of luck ... more or less as far as I know ...

Pretty sure that you have lost you qvw and macro

You could try all things from here Document Failed to Load but I believe there isn't much hope.

In addition: Are you trying to access the qvw directly or per qv start-window - if the filename or path had changed it couldn't find the file.
