How to send customised email through QlikView?

I have some data to send through email on post reload with custom html format. Is it possible to send through qlikview??

e.g. i have following product list

I want to send mail having product details with sales

and format should be as :

Product details for Sales<1000

ProductID ProductName  Sales

--------------------------------------------

1004          P4                    100

1005          P6                    500

1006          P7                    800

--------------------------------------------

Total Sales:1400 from product having sales<1000

1. Create a chart (straight table) which returns your desired result ( < 1000 )

2. Save the result as a file using macro

3. Using macro, use an email tool like happy mailing : Blat online which can use html formatting and embedding files into email body.

Hi,

1) first you need to parametrize your email : goto Settings / User Preferences / Mail tab

2) Set up an alert : Tools / Alerts

But I do nt know how much HTML you can put there in your text.

Try having look at a 3rd party bolt on like NPrinting, give it a Google and see what you think.

Hello Saif,

this is something that also QV Mail and QV Report can solve very easily and effectively.

We have done something similar in the automotive sector for QV report distributing customized reports to 2.000 sales people worldwide in a matter of clicks.
