How to show data on the Map.

Hiiii All,

Presently i am working on the application in which i am having the revenue statewise. i.e

State  Name                            Revenue

ANDAMAN AND  NICOBAR      0.57407596

ANDHRA  PRADESH               15.45814778

ASSAM                                  0.311123

BIHAR                                    3.44334749

CHHATTISGARH                     4.61813

DELHI                                    635.8234347

I want to show the on revenue on the Map.

I have calculated the latitude and longitude of the States by using the Google Map Api.

But i am stuck now.

I dnt have any idea how to create map of india

and how to map the revenue with the locations on the Map?????????????????????

take a scatter chart and add image of map using properties-> Colors-> image option

take 3 expressions

1 latitude

2. langitude

3.revenue-> check value on popup for this expression only

Sunil That will be static. Actually i want it to be dynamic.

i.e if i click on the any state (lets Say Rajasthan) then the map should zoom in

and show the revenue according to the cities in Rajasthan.

Hey I am looking for a similar solution; all i could set is the label = 1 which keeps clustering the map with balloons.... some one help us fix this

I believe you have to use GIS based maps. Googlemap is predefined pixelbased and GIS are Vectorbased. There are several vendors for GIS based maps worldwide, but Iam not sure if there are any free to download.

Hi Lalit,

Rather than use GIS why not opt for a QlikView pure statistical mapping extension . There are loads of QLikView mapping extension tools available on the Qlik market . Personnaly I represent Qlik Technology partner Articque editing Articque MAP for QlikView. You shall find two types of products on the Qlik Market 1- The GIS connectors ( 100% server architecture based) and 2- pure extensions for QlikView and/or QLik Sense ( no third party server required). 

N.b :   As any QlikView or Qlik Sense extensions,  not for free but License based.
