It's not possible with a calendar object. You can only select values that actually exists. That's why you can't input values by typing them. If you want to do that you will have to use a variable and an input box. And that makes things more complicated. See here for a tutorial using variables (also calendar objects in the tutorial, but input boxes can be used instead).
