Identify Saturday's and Sunday's in graph and change colour

Hi guys - I have a date field 'Request_Date' which lists dates in format DD/MM/YYYY.  I use this to populate a standard bar graph.  Due to the nature of our business, the weekends are incredibly low and I'd like to try and 'visually' reduce the impact of the weekends on the graph.

How can I write some set analysis in my graph background colour to change the colour of the weekend bars?

I have a separate field called 'AD_Day' which lists the day of the week relating to request date but I need to show the graph using dimension 'Request_Date' to show a day by day demand analysis of our business.  Any ideas much appreciated.  Kind regards

hi 

in your chart expression 

go to background color and use this expression 

if(weekday(Request_Date)<5,blue(),red())

change the colors in the expressions to suite your need
