In a chart, show a filtered dimension, plus the total un-filtered for the dimension

Hello,

Is it possible in a chart (table) to show a filtered dimension and also the total for the dimension, but un-filtered.

For example, if the user filters on product type, selecting 'camping equipement', is it possible to show the sales for camping equipement, and then the sales for all product types in a separate column ?

Thanks!

I believe you are talking about using Set Analysis, below is a Design Blog post to get you started, there are some additional related Design Blog posts at the end of this post, just FYI, and I am going to provide the base URL to the Design Blog area too in case you want to do further searching, as there are over 700+ posts in this area from our internal experts on various topics and most are a how-to write-up.

Hi Brett,

Thanks, you're right, I needed to add another indicator with the '[filtered field] =  ' as part of my set analysis.

Thanks for the links to the set analysis info.  That will really help me going further.

Regards,

Leen
