Issue about database name

I have issue when I connect to database for use table in it. My database  is 2012.1. When i Used this, it isn't found the detail of table or view in this database. But i Used 2012. It can show detail of table and view.

I dont know about full stop (.) in Database name? it can't show the detail?

Any solution for fix this.

1. r u tried to put like this [2012.1.] ?

2. u can try to use ur database name instituted of host number?

i try like this. but it isn't work.

My database Name is Dev2012.1. I try like this but it still can't find any table or view.

and i try to put [Dev2012.1] It show error in  connection  script.

Any solution for solve this?
