Line chart requires two expressions to be first one?

I have a line chart with two dimensions, Months and Dim2.

I have two expressions, Percent and Count.

Percent is shown as a line.  Count is shown as just a pop-up value.

In addition, I set line width in Line Style for Percent to be wider than normal.  (This will become a calculate width once this issue is worked out.)

I have two problems, one with Percent and one with Count.  The work around to each one is to have it be the first expression.  (Others have run into these.)

However, they cannot both be the first expression.

Specifically:

  • If Percent is the second expression, the chart fails to be drawn.
  • If Count is the second expression, the value does not show in the pop-up.

The attached qvw contains the pieces for this and instructions on how to duplicate the problem.  Another hack to fix this is to turn the legend off for Dim2.  Cannot do that either.

Anyone know a way to get around this?
