Hi everyone,
I have a line chart with with follow setting:
The dimenion is date. But I set date = null() when value of that date is non-zero (Zero is the default value that no useful information) and suppress all the null() value.
Let say the first useful data is Dec-08. The y-axis will start from Nov-08, but the first point of the line start from Dec-08, not Nov-08.
My question is: how can I link the line from Dec-08 to Nov-08 (value in Nov is null(), not zero)?
regards,
Ivan
In the presentation tab of the chart properties , there is suppress Zero Values check box, please uncheck it..It would help you.....
Hi,
Thanks for you r advice. But, as I mentioned, value in Nov 08 is Null(), not zero. Therefore, suppress zero or not will nochange it.
regards,
Ivan
Hi Ivan,
If the null values are in your expression, then the sum of null values = 0.
Unchecking the suppress zero values box should fix your problem.
Hi Andy,
Thanks for your advises first.
Unfortuncately, it is not working since Date in dimension will become null() when expression value is null() (I set it up so that the graph will start from meaning starting date and end with the real ending date.
Since dimension is null(), unchecking the suppress zero will not work.

Ivan
