I'd like to load excel with multiple header rows in Qlikview and do charts and tables to show the data.
Product1 | Product 2 | |||||||||
Sub-Cat1 | Sub-Cat1 | Oppurtunity 1 | Oppurtunity 1
Location | Total Sales | Sales | Mkt share | Sales | Mkt share | Product | Mkt Oppurtunity | Product | Mkt Oppurtunity
A | 100 | 50 | 5% | 20 | 2% | Product 3 | 100 | Product 4 | 80
B | 100 | 50 | 5% | 20 | 2% | Product 9 | 100 | Product 10 | 80 |
Can we load the data to qlikview as is and be able to do charts to show Oppurtunity by location & Product, Show sales By Category and Products. Or is it good idea to pre-process the data in to two or more tables and then load it to qlikview?
Thanks !
It's possible to load multi row header layouts. I've created a qvw document that does this. See attached qvw. That said, you seem to have two kinds of data in your example. So it might be easier to split that into two tables in excel first.
