Loop or For Next

I have an excel file with a list of QVD's that reside in a folder.  I need to loop through each file and check the date of the file to see if it is today (these files are transfered each night to this folder). If any one of the files is not today I need to send me an email that the file transfer failer.

What is the best way to do this?

ADDITIONAL REQUEST

I would like the email to list the QVD's that did not transfer (doesn't have todays date)
