Manipulate time slider with values of listbox

Dear Community,

I'm searching for a possibility, to modify the slider values by click in the value of a listbox with given time periods (e.g.: 12 months, 24 months, 36 months, ...)

In my Application, I have a Time Slider, that works. You can manipulate it by clicking with the mouse, as known. But there should be a possibility to set the timeperiod to predefined standard values such as 12 months, for example.I do not find the possibility to do that. Maybe someone of you can give some hints?:

The two screenshots obove show, how the slider was moved by mouse click.

Now, I have the following Listbox, that should change the length of the slider:

The content of this listbox is from this table:

Any ideas?

Thenks for any help.

Regards Daniel

Hi Marco,

thanks a lot for your answer! But there are some points I do not unserstand:

  1. In your first two Screenshots, the slider starts between 17/01 and 17/02 and ands between 18/04 and 18/05, but selected is 24 Months respectively 36 months, that does not korrespond correctly, am I right? For me, it seems that only scale of the slider changes and shows more values, but not the slider itself...
  2. When I select another range, for example '12 Monate' the values for the variables XSliderStart and XSliderEnd do not change!
