Multi Tenanted data

Hi All

Just wanted to get ideas for QlikSense/QlikView on multi tenancy for data.

Scenario is this ...

Company XYZ and its sales data

Company ABC and its sales data

              ... and so on

QlikSense App to provide data visualizations to all companies, but of course we want to allow

Company XYZ their data visualizations only , Company ABC their data visualizations only and so on.

The question I have is what is the best approach in the Qlik architecture for this ?

Has anyone done this in their Enterprise solutions at all ?

Thanks

Paul

It seems like you are looking for a loop and reduce functionality which is available in QMC. For more information look here:

Hey Sunny , how's it going? Thanks for the links, although they are very QlikView centric, I want to

partition external company's data and present each companies to their users.

In SQLServer for example we can multi tenant via SCHEMAS and associate accounts (e.g. multiple companies) such that Co. ABC sees only their data and Co. XYZ sees their own data.

I guess I an hoping someone out there has done this using QlikSense security etc. This is early days into my

research.

thanks

Paul

Hey Paul,

I am doing good. What about you?

I don't have much experience with Qlik Sense and not sure if Loop and Reduce is yet available in Qlik Sense or not, but in Qlik View you can def. handle your requirement with Loop and Reduce.

I hope somebody from Qlik Tech might be able to give you a better response.

Best,

Sunny

Thanks for replying, all ideas are worth exploration and discovery.

I have a feeling I'm treading in new and untried territory with my requirements.
