Multiple links for different Qvw application on QMC

Hello Everyone,

I need your support , I installed qlikview server with IIS configuration now its working fine , Now I want to create multiple links for accessing different qvw application hosted on qlikview server via Accesspoint . I am not able to do the same please anyone give me some idea to implement the multiple links configuration on qlikview server.

What do you mean by multiple link accesspoint.

I mean to say that suppose in 'access point' folder I am deploying 5 application (qvw) , I want to access those application via different link like http://abc/qlikview/index.htm, http://def/qlikview/index.htm, http://india/qlikview/index.htm....etc.

Each document on the AccessPoint has a unique url.  If you open the document in AccessPoint you can copy and paste the url from your web browser's address bar.

I guess you want to create some king of front end that can then call these url's.

Thanks for your response, my requirement is suppose I have 5 clients and for them I created 5 qvw applications and those applications are hosted on one qlikview server , now I want each client does access their application with own url is it possible or not.

Hi,

Instead of giving them different URL, you can give access to who see what (Authorization), so a user will see only 1 app in access point for which he is authenticated.

as suggested by @Kaushik you can give the document level access, per document per user.

Still if you want to give the 5 different URLs,

open the each application from access point, copy the URL from address bar. Provide the same thing to the users.

but this is not suggestible in user point of view as it looks mess.

Hi Pradeep,

I also suggested the same thing as you suggested but this is our requirements.
