Hi,

It depends on number of dimension , Expressions and calculation used on expressions. It looks like your memory reached to maximum limit when chart is calculated. There is no such solution  but u can put the condition in chart that chart will calulate expressions only certainn value is selected.

Hope it helps

Sure but i have a feeling your doing most of your calculation on the designer level of the application if you can move those in your script it lower the resource usage of your application. like sales if your calculating on expression i.e. unitprice*SoldQuantity and calculating on multiple charts you can move this exression in your script and then just sum sales. i hope this is helpfull to you.

I have many charts created on the same sheet and replaces using Show condition. But one of my teamate does not have any Issue in working with file..So what could be the reason for my login alone??

This is also causing problem. because hided sheets are also calculated when u make any selection. use your show condition also in General-->Calulation condition. so it will calculate only those charts you need to show

21 MB is not that big, but try to see in Performance tab of Task Manager that when you are selecting or clearing some field what is the amount of RAM and CPU system is using. Apart from this you can increase Paging space in C drive.

Hi,

Suggest you to upgrade the ram, qlikview does all manipulations in RAM,

if your Application size is 21MB, it will be in the 80% to 90% compressed form of data,

when we open the application it will be loaded to the memory, it means qlikview will expand the data to the original size to handle data for front end designing, to handle this situation RAM should be increased. your 2GB RAM will be utilized by different applications also.
