Need text when Chart shows "no data to display"

hi guys,

when no data is been selected, normally the chart says "no data to display"

instead of that, I need a text "Please select your Country". Is it possible. ??

how to do that?

You can change this from chart properties general page. There is selection 'Error Messages...' here You can write Your own messages.

Thanks for your reply, but dint work in this case.. in my bar chart i have a condition, if i select country then the data displays in my chart, and if i clear, it shows no data to display, so i want a text in such case.

I guess that you are using a condition for calculation.

In this case you can define a custom error message if the condition is unfullfilled. You find these messages in the general settings of the chart button "Error Messages".

But as you already mentioned this does not work for you. Therefore it would to know be useful where/how you set up your condition.
