''OUT OF VIRTUAL AND/OR LOGICAL MEMORY ALLOCATING 2 MB' ERROR WHILE RELOADING SCRIPT

Hi all,

I am getting following error message while rying to reload the script.

'OUT OF VIRTUAL AND/OR LOGICAL MEMORY ALLOCATING 2 MB'.

If you click on OK button, system futher throws below message

'SERVER DEPLOYMENT COMPATIBILITY WARNING' - Internal inconsistency Type D detected, if this application is deployed on server, the server will restart with the message above written to the event log.

Please contact Qliktech support for further assistance.

We already have tried increasing the Virtual memory size but it didn't worked.

Please advice.

There are too many synthetic keys in your data model. You have to correct(remove these synthetic keys AFAP) your data model to get rid of it.

Hi Anil,

Please improve your data model. With so many syn keys the output you'll get won't be proper.

Hi Anil,

The error occurs due to QlikView running out of available memory. On 32-bit platforms the user memory address space is typically limited to 2 GB per process even though more physical memory may be available.

The root cause is most probably the data model. Try to eliminate or reduce the number of synthetic keys.

Cheers

Hi,

QV's ability to calculate and fetch rows hinders as the number of synthetic keys increase. And if u use any joins with the same of synthetic keys,it runs out of memory.

Reform ur data model and try.
