Performance issues??

Hello Everyone,

Does having more number of tabs reduces performance.....what are the main reasons which effect qlikview viewing experience...

can you please suggest the reasons....how can the performance be improved...does container and opened objects reduces performance or minimized reports also hinders performance.

we have 64 gb ram...64 bit serer.

3 documents 1st of 1 gb , 2nd of 400 mb and third of 300 mb.

Hi,

     Yes the numbers of variables with heavy calculation affects the performance of the Application.

     If you can move the calculations to Script that will improve the performance a little bit, but again it depends on how well is your data model designed.

HI Rohit,

There are lots of things which you need to address properly eg:

while accessing Application check your server how much of RAM its consuming you might get help on that.

If it is using all of that then Simply Increase the RAM else you need to check your Application and optimize that like reducing Text boxes, use of Variables instead of calculating same expression again and again. Reducing unwated data/Columns which are not getting used and many more .....
