Hello,
I would like to create a pivot table with where the represented result of the expression number is A) the absolute number and B) the percentage of the total of the column.
How to proceed ?
Thanks
Kind regards,
Guy
Thanks for the help John, I was able to get the data reloaded into QV with a new column for the year for each row and was able to use that instead of messing too much with the script.
Hai jesper,
I am having same doubt which exactly shown what you are having in excel of your doubt.
Did you get the solution ?, please forward me how to work on it.
Thnx
Thanks John!
I ran into the same issue and this solved it for me.
Jasper
In your script, why not do something like
LOAD
OffYear = year(offerdt) ,
*;
And then have sum(Maturity)/(sum(Maturity <OffYear>)?
Hi John, thanks for this suggestion.
Interestingly, when applying this to the measure of a Pivot Table (in Qlik Sense), all columns are displayed, even when selecting only a few of the dimensions displayed by the columns.
Any idea how to work-around this 'feature'?
did you find any work-around
I have been battling to get my pivot table to work and I also gave in and when with a different chart type! But this is phenomenal John.
Now, Am I able to use this methodology within a text box? I have a text box overlaying a pivot table and I want to show the YoY changes as a user selects years to compare by. The user will be bale to select up to 3 different years to compare by and I want the text box to be able to reflect the changes across the years.
Is there a way I can formulate it to recognize Year 1, Year 2, year 3 etc and have a function that has Year 1 - Year 2 for the first text box, year 2 -Year 3 for second text box?
