Problem with Access point in IE

Hi All,

One of our users is facing an issue with opening  dashboards in IE(IE 9).

whichever dashboard she opens, it kind of loses the format completely.

Attached is the screenshot of the error.

does anybody have an idea of the root cause?

Please help.

Thanks

Hi,

did she call the Access Point using IP address after http:// prefix or using a domain name?

What about if you right click on the gray area and inspect html source? Can you check all your path inside it?

The root cause seems to be that the HTML-page that is sent from the QlikView Web Server can't access the /QvAjaxZFc/htc/default.css.

If I press F12 in my Internet Explorer and got to the DOM Explorer I can delete the reference in the QlikView App's web page and my app looks exactly like your on your picture...

Why it loose the reference for this particular user I can only guess - maybe she has some IE-addons that is causing trouble that really mess up other websites... Adware and other malicious web content can activate such behavior.

Hi,

If it is with only one User Issue might be from his/her machine.

Try to open it with other Browser it should work. that specific machine might have installed few extensions. re-installation  of IE might be helpful.

I haven't the solution, but seeing HTML I was hoping that the links in there coul be give you an answer. For examples, if there are links (images, scripts...) that pasted in browser gave a 404 error.

It was a way to understand better.

I'd try to change browser or check if there are blocked content (i.. settings).
