Problems with Design changes on AWS QlikView server through QlikView Desktop client app
Our QlikView 11.2 SR7 Server is hosted on at AWS.
Up until now, we have done our design changes directly on the server through an RDP session, which is not best practice.
We are now several people with design access and will in the future be using the QlikView Desktop 11.2 SR7 client app for design, development and troubleshooting, but are experiencing issues getting full design access through the QlikView Desktop 11.2 SR7 client app.
We can do 'Open in Server' and access the QVWs on the server, but have problems with the following:
1. Once the QVW is open in QlikView, we can't view the reload script, make changes or save changes to the QVW.
2. When creating a new QVW in our local QlikView Desktop app, we are unable to link to a file (QVD or QVW) on the AWS QlikView server.
