QMC Administrator Login issue

HI Experts,

I am part of Administrator Group of the RDP where QlikView installed and QlikView Administrator Group. However, I am unable to login to the QMC, I get Access denied when to try to access the QMC website.

Moreover, do I need to login to the Vitual Machine with the QlikView Admin credentials or Service account to access the QMC for any initial configuration?

I am quite new and confused with the Admin login to QMC or Virtual Machine where Qlik Server is installed.

I appreciate any help here.

No, you don't have to do any (additional) configuration to get into the QMC.

There is only one requirement: the Windows AD account you are using to access the Virtual Server running QlikView Server must be a member of the local group 'QlikView Administrators' (note the terminating 's') on the Virtual Server.

Thanks Sam and Peter.

I am been added to the Administrator group and to the QlikView Administrator group. Yet, I still get the access denied message.

I am trying to login using the domain user and this is part of the above groups.

HI,

One more check

May The admin account is disabled or locked or  the password expired

Check the properties and enable the same if that is the case

Make sure to add this account in both administrator and qlikview administrators groups
