Solved: QMC Reduce Issue - Qlik Community

Hi All,

I am trying to do a loop and reduce on a QVW. When I click on the Reduce tab, then the Open Document is churns away for awhile, but nothing gets displayed in the Fields or Values columns. I have tried deleting all files associated with the QVW and even deleting and recreating the QVW. Any ideas?

Hi Thom,

Not sure why it is moderating you last reply. However, I was able to read it. You need to change the below setting.

Locate the file QVManagementService.exe.config (default location C:\Program Files\QlikView\Management Service)

Edit the file and increase the size of "MaxReceivedMessageSize"

Default value: <add key="MaxReceivedMessageSize" value="262144"/>
Exampe value: <add key="MaxReceivedMessageSize" value="2621440"/>

Save the file and restart QlikView Management Service

Hi,

Can you tell what version of QlikView you are on?

You have to hit on open document to display all fields available in your document.

Did you try by clicking open document button.

Did it displayed all the fields?

Clicked on it and it displayed nothing. I heard there is something in the config needs set higher.

Here is the message from Management Service Log: Error QDS did not respond to request.
