Qlick View - Not able to connect to Oracle 11g Express edition

Hi All,

I am totally new to Qlick view tool.i have installed Qlick view X 64 personl edition in my home PC.also installed ORACLE 11g Express edition.

So now when i am trying to connect to Oracle from Qlick view i am facing the below issue.

"The Specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the driver and Application".

The above error message is throwing when click the Select button in the 'Edit Script' window.

So kindly help me how to fix this issue permanently with a step by step detailed process.

U might have installed 64bit client driver instead of 32bit. check the version of the DB. and install the same version client and try again.

Hi Nanda,

that normally means you are using a 32bit driver to connect to a 64bit source OR vice versa.
