QlikView Alert on Error Message found in Log

Hi,

Hope someone can help me out with this QV development which I am struggling with.

The log file I am reading from the QV is "BC_TestLog.txt". The QV needs to reload every week and check this log file for error description such as containing "not found". If at least 1 error description is found in the log for the current month, then an email is to be sent out to a particular user.

I've attached the qvw i am working at and am struggling with 2 points :

1) How can i load the qvw such that it only show the current month log data?

2) What is the condition formula I can place to check that there are more than 1 error message and thus email the message.

Can someone kindly advise and help me? Thx.

Hi,

Make sure below path

\\20.0.0.1 is accessible. and service account you use have read permission to that file you are accessing placed on shared network path.

Hi Ashfaq,

You have mistaken. I am referring to the qlikview script on how i can default the load selection to just current month data and also on the email alert to only email if there is found error message(using the error flag) in the current month data.

Can kindly advise? Thx.
